As part of the European Week and the Open Days program, the Media and Information Agency invited activists of the National Youth Congress and students of the “Andon Zako Çajupi” High School to a discussion with public officials directly involved in the process of Albania’s EU integration.
Among other things, they discussed ways to increase young people’s access to information related to European integration and how they can actively participate in the process.
The Deputy Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Megi Fino, focused on the work done so far in Chapter 31 “Foreign, Security, and Defense Policy”, while the Deputy Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari, focused on the progress of work in Chapter 24 “Justice, Freedom, and Security”.
The #OpenDay program is an initiative of the Media and Information Agency within the framework of educating and informing young people about the functions, tasks, and premises of government institutions, as well as the opportunity to meet with senior representatives of the relevant institutions to discuss the needs of young people and enable and provide the best solutions for them.
